According to the announcement of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) and the international standard of IATA, the conditions for bringing power banks on board are clearly defined based on their electrical capacity (mAh) as follows:
*Below 20,000 mAh and not exceeding 100 Wh: Unlimited quantity allowed (subject to suitability).
*20,000 - 32,000 mAh and not exceeding 100 Wh: Maximum of 2 units per person allowed.
**Above 32,000 mAh and not exceeding 100 Wh: Prohibited from being brought on board (in all cases).
